In my favorite book, The Tao of Pooh, Winnie the Pooh falls into the river, and one of his friends drops a stick in the water to make waves to push him out. This is my approach to life and my practice. In most cases, when life gives us what seem to be insurmountable odds, going with the flow helps us reach the other side.
My goal as a therapist is to help people find that flow. In 2009, I lost my career in printing and spent years struggling to find a job that met my needs. When I decided to give back, the flow was clear. I returned to school as an adult and received my Masters Degree in Social Work from Aurora University in 2024.
My practice focuses on the whole person and how to address the complexities of life. As a therapist, I am here to listen and help find solutions that work for you.
I have been married to the love of my life for over 15 years and we have a young daughter. I have also spent the last twenty-five years volunteering with alcoholics and addicts. I look forward to meeting with you and determining how I can help you meet your goals.
